Sarah Fogg

I believe the art classroom is a place for students to explore both themselves and the world around them. As a teacher, I want to show my students a new way of seeing their surroundings and making connections to different parts of their lives. I believe that art is not just about the final product, but what happens throughout the process. I believe that everyone has the ability to create and express themselves through art.

 

My name is Sarah Fogg and I graduated from thePennsylvania State University with a degree in Art Education. My goal is to become an art educator in a K-12 school. I did my student teaching in the Pittsburg Public School District and taught groups of diverse students. In the past, I have worked at several summer camp programs where I came up with curriculum and taught it to elementary-aged students. I have also worked with high-school aged children as a counselor and staff member at a church camp. I always enjoy working with children of all ages and love seeing ways in which they grow and develop as they get older.
