TRAVELING
In the summer of 2012, I studied abroad and stayed with a host family in Todi, Italy. Traveling all throughout Italy, I was immersed in Italian culture and art history. I have also been to many other countries including Germany, France, Austria, Honduras, and Mexico.
Not only do I love art, but so much more!
Other Activities
MUSIC
Music is something I have always been in love with. Ever since elementary school, I have been involved in different music groups such as choir, band, marching band, church choir, and school musicals. I also helped with set-building, designing and painting fall play and spring musical sets, and fundraising.
VOLUNTEERING
I have traveled to communities in need all over the United States to help with disaster efforts with the mission organization LutheranHANDS. It is a rewarding experience to help people in need in cities such as Nashville, Lake Station, Birmingham, and New Orleans. I also love being a member of Penn State Dance MaraTHON, the largest student philanthrophy in the world.
THEATER SET DESIGN
I have recently started to design musical sets. I have designed, built, and painted several theater sets for musicals such as 'Into the Woods', 'Shrek', and 'Frog and Toad'. I enjoy creating pieces that are larger than life.
