The theme for the 8-week curriculum was 'Figure It Out'. All of the projects were based around the concept of the human body. Self-portaits, shadows, and motion are all areas the students were able to explore while also getting to know their own body. As an educator, I wanted to make sure the students understood that when they depcit the figure through art, the final product does not have to look proportional or realistic.
